I am a board certified family physician.  I trained at the University of Michigan Medical School and went on to complete my residency in Family Medicine in 2003.  After a four month trip through Asia, my husband, Scott, and I moved to Portland, settling in a southeast neighborhood.  We love it here!  I began working for a large Portland hospital system at a satellite clinic in Woodburn.  However, after four years, I decided I needed to change my practice style and create an office environment more in harmony with my life goals and with the desires and needs of my patients.

In my spare time I enjoy international travel and cuisine, Argentine tango dancing, and virtually any outdoor activity in the beautiful Northwest.

I am committed to ecologically sound practices both in my home and at the office, from compact fluorescent bulbs to setting up office procedures aimed at minimizing paper.  I strive to buy local.  Please join me in walking or biking to the office!
